The Phuket Oilfield Classic (POC) stemmed from the interest of 18 avid golfers many of whom are involved in the Oil and Gas Industry in one way or another and who came to Phuket on the 14th November 2008. Such was the enjoyment of not only the company shared but the fantastic golf courses played, that everyone decided we should make this a yearly event and invite many other like minded fellow Oilfield related Colleagues to join in and so The Phuket Oilfield Classic (POC) has grown to be a regular fixture in the Golfing Calendar.

"POC aims to support underprivileged children’s charities and organizations on the Island and over the last three years have raised over 1.2M Baht for deserving causes. Our attention now turns to helping children to progress through the schooling curriculum by Sponsoring Scholarships to children less fortunate than others and who cannot afford the costs of school fees due to parental hardships of one kind or another. So come along and help us to help the future generations of children, to grow up knowing that your generosity has helped them and others achieve something which they might not have been able to do, had it not been for your participation and willingness to support this event"
